Birth Package
FAQ
When do I call to have you come to the birth?
I'm on-call for you from 38 weeks until baby comes. Typically you would call when labor first starts and then I would come when contractions are strong, consistent, and about 8-5 minutes apart.
Will you be taking "crowning" shots?
Only if it's desired by you. Birth is amazing! And every aspect is worth capturing. But I totally respect your preferences and will avoid shots "below the belt" if that's what you prefer.
How long do you stay after baby is born?
I will stay postpartum for up to two hours to capture all the fresh snuggles, as well as important moments such as baby getting weighed, measured, etc.
Do you photograph hospital or home births?
Both! If birthing in a hospital be sure to add me to your birth team/plan and inform your provider that I will be present.
Do you photograph C-Sections?
Ultimately, that is up to your provider, but YES! With appropriate approval to be present in the operating room, I am more than willing to capture your C-Section.
